This is a capture of a mating pair of Great Blue Heron taking a small break from their courting behaviors. I watched these two birds put on a courting show for nearly 90 minutes. It was a wonderful experience to see these beautiful birds as they showed off for me and the fellow photographers lucky to be at Huntley meadows that day.
