Great Egret Flight 5
Huntley Meadows Park - Alexandria, Virginia

It was very early in the morning at Huntley Meadows and the reduced light was reflecting softly off the fall foliage and water of the back most pool of the wetland’s boardwalk. I spotted this Great Egret flying in, low on the water, so I grabbed some captures as it passed by me towards the deeper woods. I love the texture of the water caused by fallen debris and the distant orange and yellow tree reflections.
