During the Spring months at Venice Rooker, many species of birds are in full courting colors. I had been watching bird flight all morning, trying to capture some images of birds returning to their nests and their young chicks. This Great Egret was coming in to his nesting area and was making an announcement of his arrival and warning off all other species to stand clear.
