This image is the last in a series of a single fly by of a Great Egret at Venice Rookery. It was early evening light as this Great Egret rounds through a turn with the beautiful bokeh background of the Venice Rookery. The angle of the birds wings, the painted background and the backlit wings of the egret add to the shot. This is one of my favorite images from the rookery.
